Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely, all of our technicians are licensed through the State of Texas and we carry our general liability insurance through farmers insurance.
Do you have to come out to give me an estimate?
An onsite estimate is always best- but we realize people are busy. Many of our customers will simply text or email pictures of their existing water softeners or heaters and we can usually provide an estimate after we have a chance to look at your existing installation.
Why are your prices more than the unit that I see at the big box stores?
The units we provide and install are professional grade machines. They have a better grade of parts and media beds than the ones you might purchase at the big box stores. The included warranty that we offer, with every unit we provide and install, is the equivalent of the added on extended service agreement that you would purchase when buying a unit at the big box store. By the time you factor in installation costs, haul away and extended service plans, you are in the same price range and are purchasing a much better made product. The biggest benefit to buying from Lone Star Water Services, or any local and reputable company, is that you won’t ever need to call an “800 number” to get the service you need. You will not have someone at a “call center” tell you they will put you in contact with “someone in your area” who will come out “at an unspecified time” to fix your problem. If the need arises for service on your unit, our phone number is the only one you need to call for prompt service!
Why are your machines less than some other larger water treatment companies that I have heard about?
The water softeners that we provide and install are the same grade of equipment-but between our lower overhead and lack of “high pressure sales people”, we can bring you a high quality product for a fair price. We will never pressure you into a purchase. We are here to help educate you about the options that are out there and hopefully earn your business with our fair pricing, great selection and superior service that happens before, during and most importantly, after the sale.
How long have you been installing water softeners and water heaters?
We have been installing and repairing water softeners and water heaters for over 15 years. We service most major brands and we are continually seeking out new technologies in order to stay up with the ever-changing market.
